Interlaken, the centre of the Bernese Oberland, is situated in the heart of Switzerland and Europe, between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz and at the foot of the world-famous triumvirate of peaks – the Eiger ("Ogre"), Mönch ("Monk") and Jungfrau ("Virgin").

Interlaken is easy to reach via the motorway from almost anywhere. However, the available parking lots aren’t free of charge.
